I don't blog often, I know that! I always have good intentions of putting my feelings down in here or thoughts or whatever happens through the day, week or month, good or bad, however I am a bad bad blogger!!! I read it once, I read it twice and I read it again, yup it moved me to tears, and made me realise that I NEED TO DO THIS, I need to stop putting it off, or my memories will be gone, sure I will have the photos, but no memories, like of Alexander's 2nd Birthday the other day, when I put the pooh bear table cloth on the table, as I was shaking it out he goes ooooooo ooooooooo oooooooo pooh bear! Thank you Mummy, Thank you Mummy, Thank you Mummy - that needs to be journeled, he was so excited. See this is why I am a bad blogger, I get side tracked LOL So I will try and blog more often - not just post previews and stuff, but really blog, I will try and scrap 4 layouts a week ( start low ) :) Thank you all for being a wonderful inspiration to this old bird down under!

AWAY UNTIL FEBRUARY We are off on a family holiday on Friday the 6th, until the end of January, then when we get back we have to get the kids ready for school :). We will be visiting Phil's family and our friends while we are away, we are going to Sydney. I am really looking forward to seeing everyone again. Tonight was school concert night, Luanna had a solo piece and was one of the only 3 solo singers of the night. I am so proud of her, she sounded like an angel (pity she doesn't act like one all the time LOL) she looked absolutely stunning, even with a face covered in exzma. IT'S HERE IT'S HERE IT'S HERE!!!!! The long awaited Quake 4 wahoooooooo, for those of you who don't know I am a keen gamer, having played both Quake 2 and Quake 3 online for some multiplayer fun ohhhhh yeahh! Going to many lans, making many many friends online and in realife through it. I love the game, I find it relaxing etc, there was even a write up about a group of us girls who played in the paper - that was pretty kewl! Quake 4 is somewhat similar to Doom 3 in that it is both single player and multiplayer, I like Q4 better than Doom as it feels smoother the graphics in both are awesome, I think I prefer Q4 because I love Quake so much. We (Phil & I) purchased the game last night, played it until the early hours this morning and I have been playing single player for a lot of today LOL. There are no bots in this game, dare say there will be an add on for these in the future. Ok I know I know, scrapping I should be talking about - but I am a gamer at heart and will be spending a bit of my time online playing this game as well as designing and scrapping and taking photos and and and all the other crap I do :) Some ok pics of Quake 4, I will from time to time post my screenshots from the game here :) The Cover Ok I am off to frag some more strogs!

OMG NOT ANOTHER POST already lol, this is turning into a habit! I always say I will update my blog regularly and try not to overflow it with stuff I make, I have totally sucked on that, but hey I can only improve huh. Now that things have settled down after the funerals I am getting back to normal, death sucks but life does indeed go on. I am feeling very sad not all day every day but haivng periods of sadness and missing and grieving, which is normal, all part of the healing process. I saw so many rellies I had not seen for years at my uncles funeral which is very kewl and we are all gonna keep in touch (yeah right that remains to be seen - we are all slack lol) Phil and I can finally get the time to enjoy our new car, I can start going out and taking lots more photos. I DID IT - my uni application thingy ma jigy (qtac) has gone through, so now all I have to do is wait to see if I a) get an interview b) get accepted I really need to go out and take the photos for the folio I have to submit, that is something I am really looking forward to, thinking outside my box and trying new stuff for me at least, it can all only be good as it will be a great learning curve. I will be so bummed if I don't get in. Whats meant to be will be right! Also gonna try and get some more scrapping done now that things are settling, will see how I go with that in between desiging and taking lots n lots of photos. I really really have to fininsh off my sisters wedding album, god im so slow, if she is lucky she may just get it by xmas LOL I am really looking forward to restarting my Monday night scraps with Deb. FINALLY!

Yup another update :) Had a CRAPPY CRAPPY WEEK!!! My uncle died last Thursday morning, that evening my Stepmum's dad had a stroke, he passed away on Saturday night - very very sad and very very gee I dunno, it has just been a really sad sad week. I flew out on Tuesday afternoon for my stepmothers father's funeral, flew back home on Thursday afternoon, on Wednesday afternoon after the funeral and wake my sister, my nephew, Alexander and I did some serious serious retail therapy! OOPS Monday the 19th is my uncles funeral, there were a few hold ups on this one and a lot of other stuff going on where that is concerened. I will be glad when it is all over, I am very sad, my family is very sad, and its yukkie. Death always is - it sucks but life goes on huh :) I have added some more blog links finally, I am so so slack, the last week seems to have been a month long. My creativity is out the window at the moment. My daughters birthday is on the 24th Sepetember she will be 12 and I have NO clue what to get her for once. Maybe an ipod, maybe an mp3 player, maybe a sterio for her room, maybe clothes, god only knows. Take care all and remember to hug ya family. xx

Each soul is a beautiful flower that passes from this earth...only to bloom anew in heaven's garden. Last night as I went to bed, I was excited thinking about today and picking up our new car! How selfish! Sure life is about living and enjoying all the good things that come into it. It is about giving, caring, it is about love and family! This morning I was woken by a phone call at 7.15 am, I said hello, I hear my fathers voice, immediately I knew something was wrong. Dad had called me to let me know that uncle Denis was dead. Death Sucks!! Yes I believe that everything happens for a reason, life goes on, things happen that make us stronger, who are we to question why? Uncle Den, I know your up there looking down, wanting us to remember you for your cheeky outlook on life, your sense of fun and always enjoying the moment. I remember the times we had when we lived in the same little town. For me that was good, getting to know you as an adult. I remember when you turned up on my doorstep unannounced - I was suprised, it was great. I could not believe you were there :) Thank you for being a part of my life. Do not stand on my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep, I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glint on the snow, I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle Autumn rain. I have been lax with my blog & new website lately I know! Things have been happening in our house of late :) Number 1 Phil & I spent quite a lot of time pouring over cars online, discussing the merits of each one , what we liked what we did not like etc, so armed with our instant “knowledge” off we went and test drove a couple of cars, we did keep coming back to the same conclusion each time about what car we wanted (we also had our confirmations confirmed OVER and OVER again about car salesmen, one still rings on a daily basis – I have a bit of fun with him the annoying turd ;) ) The upshot is we bought a new car YAYYYYYYY, delivery is approx a week and a half away now, being impatient at the best of times this sucks. We got a Honda CRV the standard model with the extra’s we wanted. Our car is sexy or will be. I will post pics once we get it as the ones online do not do it justice :) Number 2 – The biggie, the big think about this make a decision and either grab it by the balls and go for it or forget about it all together kinda decision. I thought long and hard about this one. I at 37 years of age am going to apply to University. Yup me old bag extraordinaire LOL. The course – Bachelor of Photography – I am currently doing my portfolio to submit and blah blah blah and am so excited and nervous, what if I do not get in boooo hooooooo. It is a three year course. Not long really – when your single and have no family or business commitments :) It scares me in the way that I was always going to stay home with my baby until he started school, he will be 2 when I go (I plan on being accepted LOL) I am going to miss so much in my mind, I love being with him I really do. The older kids can handle it, Alexander will handle it better than I will, this I know, I also know him being in day care with other kids his own age will be fantastic for him (thought I do pity the poor carers who have to look after a handful of terrible two’s hehe) Bottom line is I have made up my mind and have the full support of my family, Phil, the kids, my parents, sister etc. I know in my heart it is the right thing to do for me, like I said about the only regret I will have is my baby boy god I love spending my days with him, somehow I appreciate babyhood more now that I am an older mum. End of ramble :)

Been on another bit of a roll this week so far. Had a HUGE weekend!! It was the celebration for Vicotry in the Pacific - 60 years :) There were air shows, parade, tickertape parade, fireworks, live bands and so on - Saturday I took just a few photos (1898) to be exact hehe. Sunday hardly any at the rodeo as my camera was deemed (by some twit in an office who obviouisly knows NOTHING about SCRAPPING) a professional camera UGGGGGG I was so mad!Monday took another 780 or photos. It was a great but busy weekend.

So here's what I've got: 1 - I totally HATE telesales phone calls by a MACHINE! What is with that? It�s easier to hang up on a machine? Real people can�t handle rejection anymore? Crappy customer service in my opinion, and I bet they find their success rate goes down the toilet even more with a machine talking to you!!!! 2 - I hate it when taps are not turned off properly! Today I took the time to update my blog with Photo Blog links, having started my own photo blog - which is going to take me forever to get up to date LOL, but get there I will. Photography is MY passion!! It always has been, as I get older I understand more about it and now that I have the Nikon D70s - I am learning more and more about photography, what makes a good photo etc, I just have to learn to put it all into practice and I am set LOL. I am currently deciding what to do regarding photography, a 3 year uni course, a 1 year part time at TAFE or just reading and playing. A TEAR IN MY EYE - did this today at Dawn's impromptu scrap, used one of the kits from our That's Hawt CD. Took the photo today, I think Alexander looks cute, yet sad in this, his father and most people who have seen it have said it makes them sad - that was not my intention, scrapping is about life, and this happens in life! I quite like how this layout turned out. Not often I see my happy boy crying :)

Before his haircut yesterday Michael asked me if I wanted him to mop the floor first.... with is hair LOL. How different does my biggest baby look? So damn different, amazing how much a hair cut can change your whole look. He looks way older than 14 :( But check out those sexy eyes of his now. I love how the hair cut opens his face more in one way, in another I miss my ragtoe mop top.

Boy it sure has been awhile since I have updated. Don't you all just love school holidays? NOT. Thank god ours are only in 2 weeks stretches during the year and 6 weeks at Christmas. I made this little kit as a freebie and it will be up at SBB sometime in the near future. I have been checking out all the lovely new kits and pp doing the rounds, must decide what to buy, since I cannot afford it all. I really really wanna go to the PC Crafters thingie over in Philly, but that is wayyyyyy out of my price range, Dawn and I checked how much it would cost today, lets just say I hope those of you going have a really nice time :)

God I am slack on the updating lately :) It is not 3 weeks yet but do I care? NO!!! I have picked my baby up, I have held him in my arms, I have carried him around, we have snuggled like no tomorrow, sure I am still tender, but ohhhhhhh so much better for holding my baby love, it has done wonder for both of us. To smell his sweet baby smells, to feel his little heart next to mine, to get his big sloppy kisses face to face with his little chubby arms wrapped around my neck instead of side on is pure and total BLISS. When he kisses me now he puts his whole little mouth over mine and goes mmmmmmm leaving the required amount of slober behind! I have not had such sweet kisses for many years. The CD has been sent out to the FP team yahooo. I am excited about that this being my first CD, I hope it is well recieved, it is also scarey in a way too, so much more different than releasing a kit week after week LOL It is now school holidays here for next 2 weeks - yahoo! I need a big long chain 1 at each end of the yard, one kid tied to each end about 30 feet at least apart so they can't bloody fight! That is all they are doing fight fight, agrue, bicker UGGGGGGGG. The weather has been pretty miserable here as well so that doesnt help. Son is on his puter chatting to school friends. Daughter is on her puter scrapping, with the CD and a pile of photos. They are both happy for now, wonder how long peace will reign for :) Baby is playing peek a boo with me and his rocking horse LOL Time for me to catch up on everyone's blogs now.

I Worked It Out!

I have been feeling really down lately! Tried, snappy, unhappy, like something is wrong but not knowing what! No its not me getting my period either hehe. It is the fact that I had my last upclose personal cuddle with my baby boy at 6.20 am Friday the Third of June 2005!!!! After that I went to hopsital to have my gallbladder out. Since then I have not been able to pick up my son. Since then I have not been able to feed my son without a pillow between us. Since then I have not been able to be as close to my baby son as normal. He and I are both very cuddly with each other. I still get my cuddles, from the side, no skin on skin contact, no legs wrapped around my waits, no more bug hugs as I call them. It is depressing me! Completly!! I thought it was 2 weeks before I could pick him up, which woud have only been 2 more days to go. I was excited. I really was. UNTIL I read the bloody stupid thing from the doctor, 3 weeks, yes 3 long drawn out freaking weeks. So that makes it 1 more week and 2 days, or 9 days in total until i can cuddle my baby again. It is a little different with the bigger kids, we cuddle, we kiss, we have that contact. But not with the baby, it sucks seeing your son crying his little eyes out just for mummy to pick him up. Now when he wants me he walks over to the lounge, pats it and says mummy or mummy tittie, which is cute in one way and totally heart breaking in another. Everyone else in the house has to do things for me, I can't even lift a load of washing!!!! Depressing :(

Well what a busy couple of weeks the past few weeks have been! I had gallbladder surgery on the 3rd June. The word gallstones or gallbladder just totally gross me out it is YUKY YUCKY YUCKY and I still feel that way. The surgery was quite a lot better than I thought it would be, keyhole surgery was how they done it, 4 small incisions, camera, tools and rip rip its out J Prior to surgery I was scared out of my mind, I honestly thought I was going to die. Paranoid, you betcha! Surgery is a very scary thing, especially to those who have never had anything done to them before. Having a baby is the most scary thing I had even done before this, and I think I would still rather spit a kid out than have surgery hehe. On Saturday my little sister got married!!! I was so happy for her and so proud of her, she was the most beautiful bride I have ever seen, glowing, totally glowing, and very very happy, so was the poor fella who took her on board Ben. They truly are a gorgeous couple even though Pen is only 4� 10� and Ben is a whopping 6� 4� LOL. I loved seeing my sister get married, I loved being a part of it. I was still and am still recovering from the surgery which sorta sucks, but hey we all had a ball. It was the best wedding I have ever been too, the ceremony was outdoors, perfect weather, the hall for the reception looked totally awesome. My CD went on sale at SBB on Friday which is kinda kewl J Now back to reality and more kit creating, so far for the last 2 weeks I have made 1 paper, no 2 now, I done another last night LOL Have a great day!

Been a little while since I posted I know, I had surgury last Friday and was not really fit for anying much at all this past week, still on the mend and everything is healing like it should, just can't pick my baby up for at least another week. Not being able to pick you baby up sucks, seeing him standing there crying his little eyes out because all he wants is his mummy. Oh well shit happens and it will get better :)

Today I got my dream camera a Nikon D70S, OMG I love it, it did not take me that long to fill the 1 gig memory card either. Awesome camera, one day I will work out all the settings for it, but for now I am just stoked to have it and be able to use it with no shutter lag.

Adventure Girl Kit is going to be up at Digital Bytes on Friday, the papers are done from inspiration by my 11 year old daughter. This is a very bright and vibrant kit and totally girly! I stepped outside my box with the colours on this one and am very happy with the results. Off to do a layout now.

All the kits are done for my CD yayyyyy, now to work on the extra's and CD files and all the fun stuff like designing a label and logo etc etc etc. Last few days have been fun! Mothers day was a blast, I scored lots of goodies from the kids which was awesome! Photo frames, albums, jars, coupons, cards etc. I hope all you other mothers had a fantastic Mothers Day as well.
